As the news of Steve Jobs passing takes the airways with force, I’m hearing the buzz that this could change the game for Apple. Steve Jobs has pioneered the technology industry with his innovation from day one and helped revive Apple to the company it is now. Now with Tim Cook taking control, some people are weary that this could slow down Apple’s market threshold and innovative techniques.
The one thing we have to remember, Steve and Apple have already set the precedent in technology development. If we remember back to the interview with Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, Steve mentions that they are now only the face that represents the company of individuals who are creating and changing the game with one piece of technology at a time. I am confident, as we all should be, that Apple will continue to impress us with their cutting-edge technology. Steve Jobs has done more for the industry than just create a great product for music, computers, and cell phones. He created a standard of living and the integration of technology into our everyday lives. Expect nothing less than near perfection from here on out. And a matter of fact, Apple and other tech companies have a greater pressure to perform with the loss of their visionary leader.
For a final note, I would like to say like the rest of the world, we have lost a great innovator and leader in our tech industry. He will be greatly missed. Heroes are remembered, AND legends never truly die. Steve Jobs (1955-2011).
